Naza Group's TTDI Sentralis nears completion with topping out ceremony

KUALA LUMPUR: Naza TTDI Sdn Bhd's TTDI Sentralis is on its way towards completion to become a thriving commercial hub and the most coveted address in Shah Alam.

TTDI Sentralis celebrates a major milestone with the topping out ceremony today.

"The ceremony marks the completion of TTDI Sentralis' main structural wet works of two of its components namely Sentralis Lifestyle Sovo Suites and the retail component Trivium Avenue," Naza TTDI said in a statement.

Present at the ceremony were Daniel Lim Hin Soon, chief executive officer of Naza TTDI, Ir Lee Man Chong, project director of Naza TTDI, Datuk Azman Marzuki, CEO of Naza Engineering Construction Sdn Bhd and Khalid Mansor, project director of Naza Engineering.

"Today marks a new milestone for us as we celebrate the progress of TTDI Sentralis' construction. The construction work had been previously delayed due to some unavoidable technical issues, resulting in some concerns from our buyers," the newly-appointed Lim said.

"Naza TTDI understands these concerns and is now working towards expediting the development to meet the new

deadline. We hope to complete the entire Sentralis TTDI project by 2021," he added.

To expedite the development progress, Naza TTDI has discontinued its work with the previous main contractor and appointed Naza Engineering in its place for the construction of TTDI Sentralis in March this year.

The company said due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the implementation of Movement Control Order (MCO), construction had been halted before resuming in May with Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) in place.

With a total gross development value of RM478 million, TTDI Sentralis consists of three components.

They are Sentralis Lifestyle Sovo Suites and Trivium Avenue (Retail), both expected to complete by the third quarter (Q3) of 2021, as well as the Stellar Residences service apartment) targeted to complete by Q4 2021.

The first component of the integrated development is Sentralis Lifestyle Sovo Suites, a low density SoVo with 18 units per floor.

It will consist of 206 units of stylish and flexible office space, with eight layout design choices and a built-up area ranging from 656 sq ft to 1,474 sq ft.

Trivium Avenue is the retail component where the community of TTDI Sentralis can experience shopping, dining and entertainment right at their doorstep.

It will cater a wide range of facilities and amenities, including 104 units of retail shops, two "drive-thru" units and one anchor tenant unit, complete with 24-hour security.

Stellar Residences will provide its residents with the sense of safety and convenience in the strategic location of Shah Alam.

Consisting of 260 units, residents can choose from three layout design choices with built-up areas from 719 sq ft to 1,081 sq ft.

Stellar Residences will also have 24-hour security.
