XL Axiata, MoEngage to deliver personalised digital to over 57mil customers

KUALA LUMPUR: Axiata Group Bhd's Indonesian subsidiary XL Axiata is delivering personalised digital experiences to over 57 million subscribers with MoEngage Inc.

XL Axiata said the partnership allowed MoEngage to drive multi-channel customer engagement via their offerings, AxisNet and myXL.

MoEngage's Insights-led customer engagement platform provides XL Axiata with a deeper understanding of customer behaviour and actionable analysis to boost retention across all touchpoints throughout the customer lifecycle.

 Indonesia is among the top 10 countries worldwide for internet usage with more than 185 million active users, 68 per cent market penetration, and monthly average consumption of up to 30 GB (per user).

"The partnership provides XL Axiata to identify end-user friction points, fix them, and in turn, improve the experience and arrest churn, while effectively greeting their customers with relevant, moments-based messaging focusing on preferences, behaviour, or purchase history," the company said today.

MoEngage's contextual artificial intelligence-recommendation engine further helps XL Axiata optimise communication by sending the right message to the right customer at the right time and on the right channel.

XL Axiata head product and design services Reza Mirza said Indonesia's digital economy was at a pivotal point due to an influx of a new generation of digital consumers that value personalized experiences.

"We have reached a stage where we do not only provide personalised offerings to customers who are aware of their needs but also resolve problems beyond their needs and wants. This is precisely where we believe this integration with MoEngage will come in handy," he said.
