KUALA LUMPUR: Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd has brought back a "celebration that the public has missed during the Covid-19 pandemic".
The company said Matrix Roaring Prosperity 2022 runs from Jan 22 to Feb 13 (every Saturday and Sunday, 6pm-10pm) at its Clover show unit at Resort Residence and Bayu Sutera at Bandar Sri Sendayan, Negri Sembilan.
Chief marketing officer Lim Kok Yee said the whole atmosphere would be themed as "roaring prosperity" to compliment the year of the tiger.
"This year, we will bring back the celebration that we have been missed during this pandemic period," he said in a statement.
He said the Clover show unit at Resort Residence were decked and lighted with decorations every night during the event.
The common area in Bayu Sutera, meanwhile, is displayed with Blossom decoration to uplift the spirit and celebration of Chinese New Year among the various communities and visitors in Bandar Sri Sendayan.
"Chinese New Year celebration is about sitting round the table with family, sharing food and laughter and families gather to share their hope for good things to come, so let's foster a spirit of goodwill, hope and understanding as we look towards the silver lining for the coming year," said Lim.
He said there were activities and games for the two venues with activities include kid's sand art, giant bubble, kid's bicycle rides, food trucks and CNY deco photoshoot.
"This Chinese New Year is extremely notable for every one of us here. It is a blessing for many of us and a cautionary note too as we continue to fight and live with this Covid-19 virus," he added.
Lim said there were strict standard operating procedures in place with the current circumstances.
