Affin Bank, MCCC to promote economic and trade between Malaysia and China

KUALA LUMPUR: Affin Bank Bhd has sealed a non-binding pact with  Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce (MCCC) to promote economic and trade co-operation between the two countries.

The exhange of the Memorandum of Understanding took place at Menara AFFIN @TRX here, in conjunction with the 12th Malaysia-China Entrepreneurs Conference 2022 which aims to focus on the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership topic. 

Affin Bank president and group chief rxecutive Datuk Wan Razly Abdullah said the MoU would allow the bank to showcase its ability to provide innovative financial solutions to support businesses and people in meeting their changing financial needs by providing the most relevant products and services to the business community. 

"As our country recovers from the pandemic, we want to be the 'Bank of Choice' for business communities where we will continue to support them by offering various financial products and services with a strong emphasis on customer-centricity to fuel their  business transformation and expansion journey."

He added that Affin Bank and MCCC had closely worked together to establish a modern, comprehensive and mutually beneficial economic partnership. 

"Through this collaboration, the bank will help to expand regional trade and investment while also contributing to global economic growth and development. 

"As a result, it will create new markets and employment opportunities for local and international businesses," Wan Razly said.
