Revenue Group appoints Danny Leong Kah Chern as new group CEO

KUALA LUMPUR: Revenue Group Bhd has appointed Danny Leong Kah Chern as the group chief executive officer (CEO), effective January 6.

Leong brings a wealth of experience spanning more than 28 years. He led and steered the growth of companies across ASEAN from various industries, notably fintech, payments, telco, consulting, automotive and food and beverage (F&B) retail.

Before joining Revenue, he served as the group CEO for two main market-listed companies, namely GHL Systems Bhd and Cuscapi Bhd. In addition, he was the co-founder of Adeptis Solutions Sdn Bhd.

"I am delighted to join the company and be part of the team, as I see tremendous growth opportunities in Revenue.

"As a leading e-payment solutions provider, we are in the right sector at the right time.

"E-payment is one of the megatrends identified for at least the next decade. So we have to move fast, innovate and adapt to changing technology to continue riding on the trend," he said in a statement.

Leong's immediate focus is to ensure solid business continuity with uninterrupted operations.

"In addition, with the board, my focus is also to formulate and execute long-term strategies to ensure sustainable profit growth for Revenue moving forward," he said.

Revenue managing director Datuk Eddie Ng Chee Siong said the company was pleased to welcome Leong onboard.

"Revenue has up to now been entrepreneur-led. However, as a main-market company with great prospects and a long growth journey ahead, it is high time that we pass the baton to the professionals to elevate the company to the next level.

"Given Danny's track record, execution skills, as well as expertise, particularly in payments and technology-related sectors, he is just the right person to lead the management team in driving Revenue forward," he said.
