MAHB managing director Iskandar Mizal to step down, group CFO to be acting CEO from Oct 25

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) has announced an acting chief executive officer (CEO) Mohamed Rastam Shahrom who will replace its current managing director Datuk Seri Iskandar Mizal Mahmood. 

Iskandar's contract tenure will end on Oct 24, while Mohamed - who is MAHB's group chief financial officer - will step into his new role starting Oct 25.

MAHB said Iskandar had spearheaded several transformation projects that contributed to the airport group's growth and financial recovery during his two-year tenure.

"The board would like to thank Datuk Seri Iskandar for his exemplary service and leadership throughout his tenure with MAHB," the airport operator said in a statement today.

Iskandar joined MAHB on Oct 25, 2021.

He has held several key positions in numerous listed companies in the previous years including the group managing director of Media Prima Bhd and group CEO of Pos Malaysia Bhd.
