QNET eyes expansion in Turkey

KUALA LUMPUR: QNET, a global wellness and lifestyle direct-selling company, is expanding its business in Turkey.

The company has become a silver member of the Direct Selling Association (DSA) in Turkey.

As a new member of Turkey's DSA, QNET is eager to work with other members to foster industry growth and uphold best practices for direct sales distributors.

QNET has grown significantly since establishing a presence in Turkey in 2010, serving over 160,000 customers and distributors in the country.

The company wants to improve its product offerings and provide AI-powered business tools, training resources, and a comprehensive support ecosystem to help distributors grow their businesses sustainably.

According to Cem Geyik, QNET's regional general manager for Turkey and central Asia, the DSA in Turkey is affiliated with both the European Direct Selling Association and the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations.

This is a boon for QNET given that the number of entrepreneurs in Turkey's direct selling sector is growing.

Despite a global downtrend in the direct selling industry as the world began to recover from the pandemic, Turkey's sector grew by 33 per cent year on year.

This increase suggests that a new generation is not only discovering the unique products and services provided by direct-selling companies but also viewing the industry as a promising entrepreneurial venture, she said.

"Through our membership in DSA Turkey, we aim to significantly contribute to the sector's growth and collaboration," she said.

QNET is a member of DSA in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, and the United Arab Emirates.
