KUALA LUMPUR: OCK Group Bhd's subsidiary, OCK Setia Engineering Sdn has accepted a RM48.73 million contract from the Education Ministry for the rental of eco-friendly ICT hardware that meet green requirements on a lease-to-use basis for Sarawak.
The hardware will be used for teaching and learning needs in the ministry's school computer laboratories Phase 3.
The duration of the contract is for a period of 65 months from Oct 26, 2023 to March 25, 2029.
Four months will be dedicated for the supply, installation, testing and hardware commissioning, 60 months are for leasing of the laptops and a one-month return period.
"The contract would not have any material effects on the share capital and shareholding structure of the Company. "However, it is expected to contribute positively to the earnings per share and net assets per share of OCK for the financial year ending 2024 onwards," state OCK in a Bursa filing.
