Samaiden raises green energy capacity with latest CGPP win

KUALA LUMPUR: Samaiden Group Bhd's wholly owned Samaiden Sdn Bhd has  been awarded an individual export capacity of 13.42 megawatts (MWac) in the latest Corporate Green Power Programme (CGPP) by the Energy Commission (EC). 

In a synergistic consortium with Premier Supreme Sdn Bhd, Samaiden has additionally secured a substantial quota of 29.90 MWac. 

The company said the endorsement by the EC solidified its strategic position in the sector, with a total capacity of 43.32 MWac.

"This selection is a testament to our team's unwavering dedication and technical excellence in the field of renewable energy. 

"We are excited to channel our expertise into this project and set a precedent for sustainable practices in the industry," said Samaiden group managing director Chow Pui Hee. 

As the CGPP progresses, Samaiden is poised to commence its operations in alignment with the targeted commercial operation date in 2025.
