Avanade introduces Microsoft 365 Copilot services after successful KL Lab launch

KUALA LUMPUR: Avanade, a global professional services company providing information technology (IT) consulting and services focused on the Microsoft platform, launched six Microsoft 365 Copilot services to guide Malaysian organisations through their artificial intelligence (AI) integration journey.

The company said the creation of these services follows Avanade's extensive testing of Microsoft 365 Copilot, which began in February this year and resulted in its employees saving up to two hours per day within six weeks of using the tool.

Avanade is one of a few companies Microsoft selected to be part of its private preview and early access programme for Microsoft 365 Copilot and is among the first to start rolling it out to clients, the company said in a statement.

"With preparation critical to the successful integration of AI into organisations, Avanade's services are designed to help local business leaders understand the benefits Microsoft 365 Copilot can bring and guide them on their transformation journey, from readiness to a seamless rollout," it said.

They include the Microsoft 365 Copilot Assessment, Microsoft 365 Copilot Value Framework, Microsoft 365 Copilot Information Management Accelerator, Microsoft 365 Copilot Change Enablement Accelerator, Microsoft 365 Copilot Transformation and Microsoft 365 Copilot Extensibility Accelerator.

Avanade has also established its first generative artificial intelligence (AI) lab for Southeast Asia in Kuala Lumpur.

"In Malaysia and Southeast Asia, the adoption of AI has become a pivotal competitive differentiator for organisations of all sizes," said Avanade managing director (Southeast Asia) Bhavya Kapoor.

"Avanade's comprehensive Microsoft 365 Copilot services offerings for our Southeast Asia clients can empower organisations to harness the transformative potential of generative AI tools so they can seize new business opportunities, enhance productivity, revolutionise the workplace, and spearhead growth within their respective industries," he added.

This development follows on the heels of Avanade establishing its first generative AI lab for Southeast Asia in Kuala Lumpur.

The KL Lab, which also acts as a centre of excellence, is aimed at helping Malaysian organisations accelerate their AI readiness while enabling them to extract business value from data better.
