KUALA LUMPUR: Tesla has commenced the deliveries of Tesla Model 3 facelift today, marking a critical step in its mission to accelerate the transition to sustainable energy in Malaysia.
Some customers have collected their Model 3 rear-wheel drive and long range today at Tesla Malaysia's Cyberjaya headquarters, with more deliveries to come in the course of the day.
Refined with an updated exterior styling, optimized for maximum aerodynamics and a new interior design, Tesla said the Model 3 comes with more range, a noticeably quieter ride and more features without compromising its thrilling performance.
"With Model 3's deliveries in Malaysia, it marks a critical step in Tesla's mission to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy in the country.
"With V3 supercharging, Model 3 can charge up to 282 km in just 15 minutes providing a seamless charging experience to all Tesla owners," it said in a statement.
Tesla's Cyberjaya service centre located at Persiaran APEC, Cyber 6 also opened today.
The centre comes with an area of around 22,000 square feet and provides one-stop service experience to Tesla owners.
Alongside these, the centre also provides the support of ver-the-air (OTA) remote diagnosis, 24/7 owner hotline while owners can make appointments through the Tesla mobile app with a touch according to their personal schedule.
Tesla launches premium connectivity, which will further enhance the driving experience providing access to features that require data usage — including streaming music and media, and live traffic visualisation.
Premium Connectivity will be available via a monthly subscription at RM35.99 per month.
Owners are also invited to join the official Tesla Owners Club Malaysia to enjoy privileges from various Tesla partners.
