Premium supermarket Village Grocer opens 29th outlet at The Beat in Kiara Bay

KUALA LUMPUR: Premium supermarket Village Grocer has opened its twenty-ninth outlet at The Beat in Kiara Bay right before 2023 ends.

The new Village Grocer covers 44,053 square feet, with the supermarket build-up of 23,885 square feet and 20,168 square feet of concessionaires' mix, adding convenience to the community of Kiara Bay.

With an extensive range of quality groceries sourced locally and globally, this outlet is an ideal place to shop and dine.

"We are honoured to be accorded this recognition by UEM Sunrise Bhd (UEMS) as the preferred grocery store for residents of Kiara Bay.

"We believe this has further enhanced the convenience and improved the community's lifestyle. We are confident we can provide distinct offerings to discerning customers," The Food Purveyor (FPSB) group executive director Ivan Tan said in a statement.

Village Grocer carries a wide selection of groceries and food products ranging from high-quality fresh produce and proteins, exclusively imported brands, organic products, and rare-to-find delicacies with global flavours flown in mainly to ensure their freshness is well maintained.

Renowned home brand from Australia, Woolworths, has partnered with Village Grocer to provide quality and affordable own-brand products to add variety to their premium range.

UEMS chief executive officer Sufian Abdullah said the Beat is the company's vibrant and thriving retail space in its flagship township of Kiara Bay in Kepong.

"As a developer who focuses on ensuring our communities and townships are sustainable and liveable, we believe that Village Grocer's presence in The Beat will greatly enhance our visitors' retail experience and turn our retail space into one of the community's favourite destinations in the neighbourhood," he said.

FPSB chief executive officer Kok Kian Kee said Village Grocer offer quality products with a dash of excitement on its weekly Bumper Harvest promotions that drive anticipation every Friday for the star item of the week.

"We want to give our customers the experience of an extra burst of flavour in their dishes, to pamper themselves with our gourmet delicacy, and to ensure all their cravings are covered," he said.
