99 Wonderland to create Malaysia's first 3D animated musical fountain

KUALA LUMPUR: After securing its place in Malaysia Book Of Records (MBOR) last year, 99 Wonderland Park Wildlife in the City is gearing up to establish yet another milestone with the introduction of the country's first 3D animated musical fountain.

JL99 Group founder and chief executive officer Datuk Seri Jeff BK Lee said the concept for the fountain arose from the overwhelmingly positive responses the recreational park received.

Despite the substantial investment exceeding RM80 million for developing the reservoir pond, Lee said the company finds satisfaction in offering city residents a delightful experience, particularly for families spending quality time together.

"This is my passion. While engaging in property development, I also enjoy seeing the surroundings filled with recreational areas and mini zoo-like parks with various species of flora and fauna, not to mention bright LED lights at night.

"After the success of having the longest fountain in Malaysia, coupled with a local music performance last year, now we are introducing the 3D concept. It is truly exhilarating not only for children but also for adults," he told the media recently.

The 3D animated musical fountain at 99 Wonderland Park uses advanced technology to showcase beautiful animations resembling real figures, vibrant colors, and a storytelling theme centered around a character named Jeff.

Four charming animals - sun bear, macaw bird, capuchin monkey and ring-tailed lemur - "collaborate" to maintain the harmony of the forest, adding an extra layer of enchantment to the park's offerings.

As 99 Wonderland Park continues to redefine entertainment standards, Lee said the introduction of the 3D animated musical fountain will set the stage for another remarkable chapter in the park's journey of creating magical and unforgettable experiences for visitors of all ages.

Lee said the 3D animations will be updated every two years, following the contemporary trends.

"Each performance takes place on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 8pm, while the rhythmic musical dance occurs from Monday to Thursday.

"In addition to the fountain dance, we have various engaging activities and events in 99 Wonderland Park, such as strolling around the pond accompanied by freely roaming animals and birds.

"Not only that, we also have animals imported from abroad. We follow an open concept, allowing visitors to get close to birds and animals. Even little children can gain knowledge about various flora, fauna, and more," he added.
