KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Rakyat targets RM100 million in new funds from the i-Rizq Plus investment accounts this year.
Chief executive officer Datuk Dr Mohammad Hanis Osman said the bank had recorded a total of RM202 million in investments as at Dec 31, 2023.
"As at Dec 31, we had 35,000 active accounts, with about 35,000 subscribers and a total investment of RM202 million.
"For this year, we are targeting another RM100 million investment from the i-Rizq plus accounts," he told a media briefing after the prize presentation ceremony of the bank's i-Rizq Plus investment account campaign.
Mohammad Hanis said Bank Rakyat has planned to roll out new innovative investment products based on underlying assets this year.
Meanwhile, a 60-year-old consultant was the winner of the main prize of the i-Rizq Plus investment account and took home a cash prize of RM1 million. - Bernama
