KUALA LUMPUR: Microlink Solutions Bhd said today that it is not aware of any reason for the recent sharp fall in its share price, in its response to an unusual market activity (UMA) query by Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said it is not aware of any corporate development relating to the group's business that has not been previously announced.
"We are not aware of any corporate development relating to the group's business and affairs that has not been previously announced that may account for the trading activity including those in the stage of negotiation/discussion. "We are not aware of any rumour or report concerning the business and affairs of the Group that may account for the trading activity," it added.
MicroLink also said it is not aware of any possible explanation to account for the trading activity.
Microlink's share price continued to be under selling pressure today, hitting a low of 33 sen during trading, before settling 30 per cent lower to 37 sen.
Some 49.7 million shares changed hands.
