KUALA LUMPUR: MBSB Bank Bhd today announced the discontinuation of its e-wallet platform, effective May 31, 2024.
In a statement today, the bank said the strategic decision is aligned with the its ongoing efforts to optimise and streamline its digital offerings.
It said customers can continue to use M JOURNEY online banking, MBSB Bank's DuitNow QR and Online Banking Wallet platforms for transactions.
All outstanding balances in the e-Wallet accounts will be refunded to the respective account holders.
MBSB Bank's e-wallet is the first shariah concept electronic money (e-money) service via mobile application.
MBSB Bank e-wallet provides services such as reloads and payments via smart phone.
