Nestle Malaysia unveils over RM4mil "salary" initiative to improve Malaysians' well-being

KUALA LUMPUR: Nestlé Malaysia Bhd is reintroducing the Nestlé Salary For Life contest as part of its ongoing dedication to improving the well-being of Malaysians and contributing to local communities.

Additionally, the initiative will provide financial assistance to charitable organisations and non-governmental organisations (NGOs).

From May 1 to June 30 this year, the campaign will once again offer over RM4 million in prizes.

"This includes the grand prize of a monthly RM3,500 'Salary For Life' for two lucky Malaysians, as well as exciting consolation prizes, weekly prizes and daily prizes, alongside contributions from the company to 17 charitable organisations to be associated with the contest finalists," it said.

Nestlé Malaysia chief executive officer Juan Aranols stated that the company is dedicated to fostering positive transformations for individuals across Malaysia through this campaign and various other initiatives implemented by the company.

"The contest truly embodies our purpose to enhance quality of life, providing a platform for Malaysians to have an opportunity to pursue their dreams, while financially supporting charitable organisations making life better for underprivileged communities," he said.

The Nestlé Salary For Life contest debuted in 2020, coinciding with the onset of Covid-19 lockdowns, and has since distributed RM4 million in cash prizes.

Over 850 Malaysians have benefited from this support during challenging circumstances, with two grand prize recipients chosen from 17 finalists, each receiving a monthly Salary For Life of RM3,000.

Nestlé Malaysia also donated RM684,000 to 17 charitable organizations selected by the 17 finalists who participated in the initiative.

To enter the Nestlé Salary For Life contest, Malaysians need to buy RM20 worth of eligible Nestlé products in one transaction and send the receipt, along with full name and ID number, via WhatsApp or through a web form at www.dearnestle.com.my/borang-peraduan-gaji-seumur-hidup-2024.
