SEPANG: MINI Malaysia has launched the new MINI John Cooper Works Clubman and MINI John Cooper Works Countryman, the two most powerful and exclusive models ever built by the premium British brand.
The cars were unveiled at the MINI Track Days 2017 at the Sepang International Circuit today.
BMW Group Malaysia managing director and chief executive officer Han Sang Yun said MINI has seen "very positive" growth in the local compact car segment.
Last year, it delivered over 900 MINIs for a 19 per cent growth over 2015.
In the first half of this year, a total of 460 units had been delivered to its customers, up nine per cent over the same period last year.
In essence, the new MINI John Cooper Works Clubman is a blend of versatile performance and sophisticated design.
The new MINI John Cooper Works Countryman, meanwhile, is built "for the adventurer", BMW Malaysia said.
