KUALA LUMUR: In celebration of World Emoji Day, Apple is sharing some of the new emojis coming to iOS, macOS and watchOS later this year.
With thousands of emojis already available on the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac, there are many ways to add personality to a message. Now, users have even more ways.
New emojis include Woman with Headscarf, Bearded Person and Breastfeeding; and food items such as Sandwich and Coconut. More animals and mythical creatures like T-Rex, Zebra, Zombie and Elf will also make their debut; and the new Star-Struck and Exploding Head smiley faces will make any message more fun.
The new emojis will make it even easier for users to express themselves with greater diversity.
The App Store is also marking World Emoji Day by highlighting apps customers can use to create emojis or use existing ones in fun new ways; while iTunes Movies is featuring emojis in place of select movie titles.
