KUALA LUMPUR: Want a larger Samsung Galaxy S8 with a better camera and an S-Pen? Looks like the new Galaxy Note8 is right up your alley.
Samsung's latest Infinity Display flagship smartphone is a Galaxy Note fan’s dream – it is larger, “Note-ier” with the S-Pen, and you don't have to wait that long before you can get your hands on one.

Dubbed by many as the larger, Note variant of the Galaxy S8, the 6.3-inch Quad HD+ Infinity Display smartphone (yes, 6.3-inch!) is powered by an Exynos 8895 10nm AP octa-core processor with 6GB RAM.
It will be launched with Android 7.1.1 Nougat, has an external memory expansion of up to 256GB via microSD card, dual SIM capability, and comes with a 3,300 mAh battery with Fast Charging and Fast Wireless Charging support.
IP68 water resistance is another solid feature, and the smartphone also comes with biometric security options like an Iris Scanner, fingerprint scanner and facial recognition.
The Note8 sports a new 12MP dual-camera system – one with Dual Pixel sensor with your standard focal length f/1.7 aperture lens, while the other has a f/2.4 aperture short telephoto lens – allowing it 2X optical zoom and up to 10X digital zoom. An 8MP, f/1.7, autofocus, 1/3.6" sensor-sized camera with Auto HDR function complements the front, secondary side.
Certain details of the phone which fans will get to pre-order have yet to be announced at present – such as price and internal memory storage – but those who pre-order are said to be eligible to receive a special package from Samsung Malaysia.
Current available colours are Midnight Black, Orchid Grey and Maple Gold.
