Samsung launches Galaxy J7+ in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Samsung Malaysia Electronics today officially launched its new and highly capable mid-segment smartphone, the Galaxy J7+.

With amateur photography on the rise, Samsung has built the ideal everyday mobile camera by popping in a second rear camera into the Galaxy J7+.

The two rear cameras (13MP f/1.7 + 5MP f/1.9) allow for a higher level of smartphone photography; providing better focusing, a greater depth of field and sharper clarity. The front camera has an impressive 16MP lens.

Its ‘live focus’ photography mode also allows users to adjust out-of-focus background (bokeh) effect even after the photo had been taken.

As with other Galaxy flagship devices, the J7+ sports a smooth metal unibody and comes equipped with a powerful Octa-core processor (Quad-core 2.39GHz + Quad-core 1.69GHz).

Boasting a noticeable 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, this phone is perfect for watching videos and large enough for mobile gaming.

The Galaxy J7+ runs on Android N 7.1.1 with 4GB RAM and 32GB ROM which is expandable via a MicroSD card up to 256GB. It bears dual nano-sim and powered by 3000mAh battery capacity.

Samsung has also introduced the Dual Messenger feature to the Galaxy J7+, allowing users to have two separate accounts for the same instant messaging app on one device. There is no need for constant logins and logouts or even owning a second device.

Available in two classic colours of matte black and gold, the Galaxy J7+ is now retailing for RM1,599.

In other development, the pre-order for Galaxy J7+ online have been sold out on the Samsung Malaysia official website, since the commencement of the pre-order on Sept 12.

The collections for Galaxy J7+ pre-order also starts today to Oct 4. All pre-orders will receive a free 64GB memory card worth RM190 along with a Samsung Protection Plus warranty programme that consists of a one-time accidental screen crack and one year extended warranty worth RM198.
