Dell defeats 'dull' with new Dell, Alienware gamer-centric hardware

KUALA LUMPUR: Dell Malaysia has unveiled a slew of new gamer-centric products under the Dell Gaming and Alienware portfolios.

Created for the PC gaming market, the new offerings consist of the Dell Inspiron 15 7000 gaming laptop, the Alienware Aurora Desktop, Alienware monitors, and Alienware gaming peripherals.

The new products cater to every level of gamer – from budget-conscious dabblers to hardcore, money-is-no-object players.

Dell Malaysia's managing director Pang Yee Beng said the new Inspiron gaming laptop delivers a smoother video and audio experience, as well as exceptional gaming performance – at a more affordable price.

"The latest Alienware Aurora desktop, coupled with our new range of peripherals, offers gamers the most immersive and powerful gaming experience imaginable, meeting (their) high expectations," he said.

The Dell Inspiron 15 7000 gaming laptop and Alienware Aurora desktop are priced at RM3,899 and RM4,999 respectively.

For the Alienware 34-inch curved monitors, the AW3418DW model (WQHD variant) retails for RM5,599; while the AW3418HW (WFHD variant) is priced at RM5,079.

The 25-inch Alienware gaming monitors are priced at RM2,699 (for model AW2518H) and RM2,199 (for model AW2518HF).

The new peripherals comprise the Alienware Pro gaming keyboard (AW768) and the Alienware Advanced gaming keyboard (AW568), which are priced at RM569 and RM369 respectively.

Completing the new line-up are the Alienware Elite Gaming Mouse (AW958) and Alienware Advanced Gaming Mouse (AW558), which are priced at RM429 and RM229 respectively.
