KUALA LUMPUR: OPPO Malaysia launched the latest addition to its F series, OPPO F7 yesterday.
The latest “Selfie Expert”, powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI), is set to take smartphone technology to new heights.
Featuring a high-resolution 25MP front camera with real-time HDR sensor, images taken with the F7 are said to have a lot more details, luminance and colour levels whether in bright sunlight or low light conditions.
The HDR images, coupled with a second-generation AI Beauty 2.0 technology pushes the envelope on selfie photography even further.
New advances include more accurate facial recognition capability, better beautification effects for gender and age, and self-learning capabilities based on user preferences plus added fun features.
New features are also built into the F7 making it much more attractive and fun such as Vivid Mode and the AR (Augmented Reality) stickers function allows you to have fun with selfies, adding cute animal or movie star like features, ready for social media sharing. The rear camera sports a 16MP lens.
The F7 comes with an improved 2280 x 1080 resolution, 6.23-inch FHD+ Super Full Screen display with a customised 19:9 aspect ratio. The device is operating on the AI-powered ColorOS 5.0 that is based on Android 8.1.
Powered by MediaTek Helio P60 processor, the smartphone has a 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage. There’s also a higher specs version with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage that will be made available at a later date.
During the launch event, OPPO also announced Neelofa and Taiwanese singer-actress Hebe Tien as its F7 product ambassadors.
At the price of RM1,399, OPPO F7’s pre-order had started on April 16 and will end today. Users who placed orders during this period will be given a bundle of free gifts worth RM299.
Meanwhile, the first sale roadshow will take place tomorrow in Sunway Pyramid for those who wants to experience the product.
