MT Digital Tech has announced the soft launch for Okane app version 1.0, a platform to generate free income for viewers/users by watching advertisement videos.
It uses incentives for vendors to advertise their marketing videos, and also provide the users with passive income that will help them increase their financial earnings.
With Okane Apps 1.0, Okane users will earn money just by watching the videos provided by vendors that want to market and spread their business.
Users must watch (and cannot skip) the 10-30 seconds videos to be entitled for Okane points. If they want to convert their accumulated Okane points into real money, they need to get 500,000 Okane points (equivalent to RM50) and above, but they still can convert if they have under 500,000 Okane points by paying a transaction fee.
MT Digital Tech manager Wan Rahmani Zarif said the company wants to help the public earn side income.
"With this passive income from Okane app, we hope that users can earn some money," he said, adding that users can register for free to use the app.
"Meanwhile, we also provide marketing platform for vendors that want to spread their business throughout the country with the Okane app," he said.
Currently, there is a promotion price of RM500 for 30,000 viewers. However, when the vendor viewers reach 30,000 views, it need to renew the marketing plan for another viewer slot.
"In future, we will provide users and vendors a new feature that can benefit them in terms of development, financial, etc through the Okane app. We also plan to enter Apple App Store and Google Play between January and February next year to make it easy for users to use the Okane platform," said Wan Rahmani.
