KUALA LUMPUR: Samsung Malaysia Electronics held a star-studded ‘Era of Live’ party to mark the official launch of its next generation Galaxy A series phones.
Set to be a game changer in the mid-range category, both the Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A30 pack designs and features with affordable pricing and interesting innovation to attract the millennials and Gen Z audience.
“We bring Samsung Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A30 to help young customers to easily own smartphones packed with essential features that suit their connected life,” said Samsung Malaysia Electronics' president Yoonsoo Kim.
The Samsung Galaxy A30 comes with dual rear camera and fingerprint scanner, while the Galaxy A50 takes it up a notch with a triple camera setup with on-screen fingerprint scanner.
Apart from the 123-degree ultra-wide lens for a life-size videos, both models have a big 4,000mAh capacity battery that support fast charging, advanced Super AMOLED 6.4-inch FHD+ Infinity-U Display with almost bezel-less edge-to-edge display.
Together with E! Media Prima Television Networks, a brand new digital-first platform, Samsung engaged a team of young ambassadors known as the A-Squad. They are teenage pop-star Ismail Izzani, singer-actress Nabila Razali and TV9 Idola Kecil 2008 winner Haqiem Rusli.
Both the Galaxy A series phones are available for purchase at Samsung Experience Stores and Samsung Malaysia Online store at recommended retail price of RM799 (Galaxy A) and RM1,199 for the Galaxy A50. The phones come in three colours - white, black and blue.
