Getting closer to Wang Lee Hom with the HUAWEI P30

EVERYONE wants the best view and experience when he or she goes to a concert, but getting the up close view of the performer is always difficult.

However, this will be a thing of the past with the availability of the new HUAWEI P30 smartphone, which features a super zoom capability. Right before our very eyes, smartphone manufacturers like HUAWEI are coming up with features that can amplify concert experience like never before.

New Straits Times BOTs had the change to test the pre-launched model of the HUAWEI P30 at Taiwanese-American singer Wang Lee Hom concert the Merdeka Stadium, Kuala Lumpur last Saturday.

Based on the test, we can conclude that the HUAWEI P30 has a revolutionary super zoom capability.

The images below were taken from the middle of the stadium during the concert. In order to show the zoom capability, we arrange the same photos from normal shot, close shot to super close shot.

The images are nothing short of impressive. You can gauge from the first image that the reviewer was seated quite a distance from the stage, but as he zoomed into the super close shot, the image was really impressive.

The details, such as the singer’s facial features and guitar/violin which the naked eye wouldn’t be able to see from a non-VIP seat can be seen clearly. While you may say that the super close shot is a little fuzzy, the image is nonetheless quite impressive, considering that there were lots of movement.

This is what you can expect from the upcoming HUAWEI P30 - a super zoom capability.
