KUALA LUMPUR: Navigating through a shopping mall has never been easy but with the new Sunway Pyramid mobile app with real-time in-mall navigation, locating stores will be made much easier.
With over 1,000 stores available in Sunway Pyramid, making one’s way around the 1.8 million square foot of space that spans over four main shopping levels can prove to be quite the challenge.
The Sunway Pyramid mobile app was created in partnership with Google Maps and uses indoor map technology to provide customers an easier way to navigate the mall.
The real-time indoor navigation feature uses Google maps’ indoor technology and WiFi signals to accurately position the user in the building.
“As a shopping mall that listens to the needs of our customers, this is a great way to provide them with peace of mind as well as personalised content and exclusive rewards and offers for a better and more enjoyable experience—all at their fingertips.

Shoppers too will be rewarded for using the app, giving better value for time spent in the mall. The app-exclusive rewards can be redeemed at participating tenants such as YSL, Laneige, Sulwhasoo, Yves Rocher, Chanel, Dorothy Perkins and many more.
The fun does not stop there, as the app also offer in-app quiz to determine each individual shopper--trendsetter, digital genius, family hero, smart spender or golden groover by answering few simple questions.
Upon downloading the app and registering, shoppers can scan their Member ID to enjoy rewards and gifts such as samples from Laneige, L’occitane, Clinique, Sulwhasoo, cash vouchers from Genki Sushi, complimentary milkshakes from NY Steak Shack and shopping vouchers amongst many others. Other activities include multiple photo op areas with a photo booth and even a relaxation lounge with massage chairs too.
