Powerful camera performance

KUALA LUMPUR: OPPO has launched its Reno2 Series. The Reno2 and Reno2 F models are the latest iteration of OPPO’s Reno series.

Realising the passion that Malaysians hold for creative photography, the Reno2 series act as the perfect companion for creative artists.

Offering 5x hybrid zoom, the phone’s four lenses setting of varying focal lengths - 48MP

(IMX586+OIS+EIS), 13MP (telephoto), 8MP (wide angle) and 2MP (mono lens) - work in unison to create a unique effect, and a smooth, seamless zoom transition.

The Ultra-Wide Angle lens feature provides a 116 degree perspective and this allows users to shoot landscapes day or night, even in small or confined spaces.

“Its advanced camera technology performs well in a range of environments and scenarios, from vast landscapes to confined alleyways, or bright golden beaches to dim, moonless nights,” said Nikki Chen, Marketing Director at Oppo Malaysia.

The 48MP primary lens is equipped with optical image stabilisation, F1.7 aperture and a half-inch sensor along with a Quad Bayer technology, which allows the camera software to capture two photos at the same time. Its Ultra Dark mode covers an entire range, even if light levels measure below 1 lux.

For videography enthusiasts, the smartphone comes with Ultra Steady Video Mode for a stable video.

Equipped with Electronic Image stabilisation and Optical Image stabilisation function, it compensates users’ shaky shots more accurately, and together with the 60fps frame rate, it will enhance image stabilisation and overall image quality.

The Reno2 is also equipped with a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen, 2400x1080 resolution and a screen-to-body ratio of 93.1 per cent, made from durable 6th Generation Corning Gorilla Glass, while the Reno2 F model features a slightly smaller screen with a screen-to-body ratio of 91.1 per cent made of toughened 5th Generation Corning Gorilla Glass.

The improved sunlight AMOLED screen, meanwhile, offers sufficient brightness even in bright outdoor environments, extending screen service life by 50 per cent and reducing power consumption by six per cent.

Powered by ColorOS 6.1 and running on the latest version of Android Pie 9.0, the phones provide a brand-new visual experience, including wallpaper designs that better match its exterior design.

The Reno2 series feature seamless, one-piece curved bodies, and with the use of three-layer stripping technology for glossier, multi-toned look that shows off different shades from different angles.

The phone comes in two colour options--Twilight Mist and Luminous Black and packed with a 4,000mAh battery for longer use.

The Oppo Reno2 is priced at RM2,299 (8GB + 256GB) while the Reno2 F (8GB + 128GB) is available at RM1,599.
