#TECH: Malaysian enterprises will soon have platform to expand reach into the metaverse

KUALA LUMPUR: Meta Universe Solutions (MU), a homegrown enterprise solutions provider announced that they will soon offer a comprehensive range of Web3 services and solutions that enable enterprises to expand their existing business lines in the virtual realm.

According to MU's Founder and chief executive officer, Khalid Gibran, business entities will need to infiltrate the metaverse as a means to extend their consumer reach globally. However, specialised skill sets in blockchain technology are required to transform businesses into the metaverse, something which is not widely available in the local enterprise ecosystem.

"While progressive brands are increasingly becoming aware of the opportunities and possibilities that the metaverse offers, the majority of entrepreneurs and business owners continue struggling to grasp the fundamentals and essential elements of the metaverse to reshape their brands and grow their communities," said Khalid at the official launch event held here, adding that the company aims to address this shortfall by investing in enterprises with the capability to leverage on the radical opportunity to strengthen businesses' brand presence and redefine their position in the virtual space.

Services to be offered by MU include conceptualising viable business models for the metaverse, blockchain programming, creating and managing virtual campaigns, purchasing virtual lands, building virtual communities via social media channels, and financing projects.

As a business and marketing tool, the virtual universe empowers enterprises to gain new customers, increase and enhance customer engagement and interaction, as well as create a new dimension of loyalty rewards and programmes.

On top of MU Web3 enterprise solutions, MU academy will introduce educational programmes for its internal and external stakeholders to connect enterprises, particularly SMEs, and experts in metaverse.
