KUALA LUMPUR: Apart from the ultra-slim Windows 11 Yoga laptops, Lenovo has announced its new line of gaming laptops.
Comprising the 16-inch Lenovo Legion 7i and 7, 16-inch Lenovo Legion Slim 7 and 7i, the new Lenovo Legion 7 series come in a new design and features tailored for gamers.
Lenovo's vice president and consumer business segment, intelligent devices group's general manager, Ouyang Jun, said that Lenovo Legion has always complemented gamers' personal and professional lives.
"More stylish and savage than ever before, Lenovo's new Legion 7 series laptops are leveling up to push the limits of smarter, high-performance gaming," he said.

The 16-inch Lenovo Legion 7i and 7 are great for gaming.
Crafted from aluminium and magnesium aerospace-grade metal, the laptops also have a CNC metal rim.
There's an RGB system with ambient effects on the TrueStrike Keyboard and the WASD Force Sensor Technology with optional swappable keys when gaming.
They are 19mm thin and have a 2.5kg chassis that fits all.
The laptops feature a 99.99Whr battery with up to 135Whr USB Type-C fast charging.
They also include a 16-inch WQXGA display, 16:10 aspect ratio, up to 1,250 nits peak brightness and full DCI-P3 colour space coverage, high dynamic range, and TÜV eye-safe certification.
Users can toggle between three-panel options at up to 124Hz variable refresh rates (165Hz standard) and enjoy an immersive experience with Tobii Horizon software as well as Tobii Aware for privacy.
The laptops feature up to 12th Gen Intel Core HX Series or AMD Ryzen 9 6,900HX processors, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Laptop GPU (up to 175W TGP), or AMD Radeon RX 6850M XT mobile graphics, DDR5 memory, and Gen 4 PCIe SSD storage.
With the AI engine onboard, the laptops can deliver great performance and boost Lenovo Legion Coldfront 4.0 thermal system to cool the GPU and CPU down.

The 16-inch Lenovo Legion Slim 7i and 7 are available in Storm or Onyx Grey, 2kg light and 16mm thin and are powered with 12th Gen Intel Core H Series or AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX processors.
There's an improved rear I/O dashboard with HDMI 2.1, 99.99Whr battery, and up to 135 Whr USB Type-C Fast Charging.
Both laptops have up to DCI P3 colour accuracy without straining their eyes with TÜV Rheinland Gold Label certification.
The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 series have a 16:10 aspect ratio, available in 240Hz variable refresh rates (165Hz standard) and optional Mini-LED.
They are also tuned by AI for the Coldfront 4.0 thermal system and Lenovo Legion A.I. Engine 2.0 to balance GPU and CPU recourse.
Also, they include the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (up to 100W Boosted TGP) GPU or AMD Radeon RX 6800S mobile graphics, with DDR5 memory and Gen 4 PCIe SSD storage.
PRICE AND AVAILABILITY
The 16-inch Legion 7i with Intel Core processor starts from US$2,449 (RM10770.70).
Meanwhile, the 16-inch Legion 7 AMD Advantage Edition with AMD Ryzen processor starts at US$2,059 and will be available from June, 2022 while the 16-inch Legion Slim 7i with Intel Core processor starts at US$1,589.
