SHELL MALAYSIA recently launched its new Shell App, designed to make everyday experiences better for customers.
One of the key highlights includes the Pay For Fuel feature, which enables mobile payment at Shell petrol stations.
Customers can skip the hassle of queuing up, and instead, pay for petrol from their cars — this is especially convenient for parents driving with kids.
The new Shell App also allows customers to easily keep track of monthly fuel expenses with downloadable e-receipts.
The Pay For Fuel feature is equipped with 3-D Secure verification for online transactions to ensure greater security. Customers need to input a one-time password (OTP) to ensure they are the right person to authorise transactions.
FUELING UP REWARDS
The Shell App comes integrated with Shell's long-standing partner BonusLink.
Existing BonusLink members can link their accounts to the Shell App, while non-members will get a new BonusLink account when they sign up for the app.
This integration means that customers can conveniently collect BonusLink Points for every transaction at Shell.
BonusLink Points will be awarded automatically for petrol payments, whereas customers will need to present their QR code at Shell Select counters for purchases made in-store.
The all-new app comes with many exclusive rewards. Customers can select and stack multiple cash vouchers and offers to redeem simultaneously for extra savings.
There will also be limited-time offers like discounts, promotions and more.
All redemptions can be done through the Shell App by selecting the offer and presenting the QR code at the counter.
The more customers use and spend with the Shell App, the better the rewards. Customers can track and check their Power Up progress and rewards via the app.
Lastly, the Shell App makes it easy for customers to locate the nearest Shell station.
Customers can filter stations to find ones that are Shell App-enabled, have deli2go or offer car oil change services. After choosing a station, they can navigate to the destination seamlessly.
