If you are chasing for fantasy without looking tacky, mix a little modern edge to the whimsical styling. Go for ballgown/A-line silhouettes but remember that this style might be a bit overwhelming on a small frame bride, so be mindful of the volume. Also, dial down on the puffed-sleeves and draping.

Although the actress has since made it public that she regrets the colour choice and that wearing black was to make her look low-key (the irony), I can’t help but value her daring decision because it is the epitome of what this article if trying to highlight — individuality. If you have no fear of regrets, then go for it!

How to channel her style?

You don’t necessarily have to opt for black; other deep shades like crimson red or midnight blue might just do the trick.
