More than just lip service

WHEN it comes to make-up, multitasking products get the thumbs-up because let’s face it, a big, fat make-up bag just takes up too much space in our lives.

American brand Nudestix has long been famous for its fat pencils that do everything from colouring lips to highlighting cheeks. Its latest launch, the Magnetic Lip Plush Paints, do them too, only in a non-crayon format.

Packed in tubes, these multitasking lip, cheek and eye colour collection are in soft nudes. They are non-drying, and come in long-wearing formula made to blur and mattify with a feather-light and velvety texture.

Formulated with eight natural extracts and free of cruelty, fragrance, parabens, palm oil, sulfates, and phthalates, these glosses double up as cheek blush and and eye colour, inspired by the luxurious K-beauty lip products for the perfect tool on-the-go.

DOT AND BLOT

The Magnetic Lip Plush Paints are defined as a pop of colour to quickly dot and blot, in a lightweight and long-wearing formula filled with skin botanicals such as rose centifolia flower water, camellia japonica flower and lavender extract.

All of the paint shades are curated by the co-founders Taylor, Ally and Jenny Frankel in warm corals, caramels, tans, and rose tones, inspired by tropical travels.

Jenny says her vision was to create a multitasking product that meets long-wear performance.

“When you’re craving for the perfect monochromatic pop of nude, the Magnetic Lip Plush Paints is your ultimate go-to for lips and cheeks.”

Her daughter Taylor, who is also the brand’s chief inspiration officer, says girls want to have fun with their make-up and the velvety texture glides and melts onto lips, cheeks and eyes to act as a stain.

“The end look is a natural flush of colour and I’m so excited to add Magnetic Lip Plush Paints to our growing multitasking collection. Our goal is to make everyone feel beautiful in their skin, but better, on-the-go.”

The Magnetic Lip Plush Paints are available at Sephora stores at RM120 each and for a limited time, each one comes in the brand’s signature tin with artwork by Canadian pop-artist Jessica Gorlicky.
