Oxy supports student learning

TO support the education of underprivileged students, skincare brand Oxy an Environmental, Safety and Health campaign (ESH) in partnership with Pintar Foundation and Watsons.

The campaign, themed "Sending Love & Care" is set to sponsor an after-class programme for 55 students of a selected primary school in Bangsar.

Pintar Foundation general manager Norzalina Masom said the students, who will benefit from this campaign, were those from families with a monthly household income of less than RM2,500.

The after-class programme will begin in January next year, and each student will attend a total of 14 sessions of extra classes per subject, held over a duration of 12 months.

According to Norzalina, the lockdown has affected the academic progress of these students, especially when it comes to online learning as they don't have access to computers or mobile devices due to financial constraints.

In addition to the after-class programme, funds raised from the campaign will be used to set up a mini library at the school to promote good reading habits among students.

Every RM0.50 from purchase of every Oxy product will be channeled towards the campaign. For more information, visit oxy.com.my.
