VANS and atmos, two popular names in the sneaker world, are stepping forward for a noble cause. To support the Dignity for Children Foundation (Dignity), the duo have announced a charity run featuring an exclusive line-up of customised footwear.
At the helm of this endeavour are shoe customisers Mark SBTG and Edmond Looi, whose artistry is no secret to sneaker aficionados. Their collaboration has birthed a limited edition of the OG Old Skool Vault by Mark SBTG and OG Sk8-Hi Vault by Edmond Looi, ensuring that each pair embodies a blend of classic essence and novel design.
Illuminating the boundless creativity of youth, Dignity for Children Foundation students were also invited to let their imaginations run wild in a shoe design competition. Close to 400 budding artists transformed their dreams into intricate shoe designs.
In addition to the two initiatives above, Vans is taking its commitment to the cause a step further. The brand has pledged a donation of $25,000 this year to the Dignity Foundation through the Vans Checkerboard Grants. This fund aims to bolster the foundation's creative programmes, fostering growth and imagination among youths.
