KUALA LUMPUR: Actors should be professionals who are capable to provide on-screen chemistry without resorting to off-camera romance.
Saying this, actress Zahirah Macwilson also said that she did not believe in bringing over elements that take place in reel life into real life.
“For me, it is already sufficient to establish a friendship with the rest of the cast whenever there is a new drama project.
“As an actress, we should be professional enough to know how to create that certain chemistry with your co-star when the cameras are rolling. There is no need to bring that romance off camera,” she said in a recent news report.
Currently, the 22-year-old Zahirah is busy filming La Luna, a drama series which also stars Azrel Ismail, Afiq Muiz and Elisya Sandha.
Based on her stand on this, maybe the rumour of a possible “romance” between her and her Duda Pujaan Dara co-star Kamal Adli, may not be true after all.
