KUALA LUMPUR: She looked elegant in a simple white dress, while her husband was just as stylish in a black suit. They had a “magical" wedding reception by the idyllic Andaman Sea in Langkawi, Kedah.
Actress and television host Juliana Sophie Evans, 27, and her husband, Selangor royal Tengku Shariffuddin Shah Tengku Sulaiman Shah, 29, finally had their wedding reception six months after tying the knot in Shah Alam, Selangor.
The "celebration-by-the-sea" as Juliana's close friend and fellow actress Liyana Jasmay dubbed it, was attended by family members and relatives of the couple, as well as close friends, who included Liyana, her husband Fathuddin Mazlan and their daughters Sofiah Arissa Fathuddin, 3, and Selena Fathuddin, 1, and Nur Kasih actress Tiz Zaqyah.
"Juju (Juliana), you look so beautiful like an angel! I'm so happy that we are here to celebrate your happy day!
"I pray that you will always be happy with your hubby. Marriage is a journey and I wish you both the best journey of your life.
"Thank you for having me as a best friend. Love you always!" said Liyana in an Instagram post yesterday, which generated 25,000 likes.
Juliana and Tengku Shariffuddin were married at 10.45am on April 30 in Shah Alam. Their wedding reception was at The Andaman Resort in Langkawi.
