KUALA LUMPUR: Popular TV host and actress Noor Neelofa Mohd Noor sure is flying high in 2018, both literally and figuratively.
One of her recent pictures on her Instagram account see’s the successful 28-year-old entrepreneur comfortably floating in a hot air balloon in the skies over Dubai.
In a tweet from her personal Twitter account yesterday, Neelofa wrote: “5.4 million on Instagram! What a way to start my 2018! Here’s to more adventures and successes this year, with you guys! Thank you guys!”
An earlier tweet on Sunday also saw her gush about her new role as a non-executive independent director for AirAsia.
In it she wrote: “New year, new role! Started my first day with @AirAsia with the first meeting of 2018 this morning! I am blown away by how wonderful everyone is! So thrilled to be a part of the World’s Best Low Cost Airline!”
A news report by BH Online yesterday highlighted the beautiful starlet’s first day on the job as she officially took on the position by attending an extraordinary general meeting in AirAsia’s headquarters at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) in Sepang.
Neelofa was said to have been calm and composed after the five-hour meeting had ended.
“Air Asia has been really warm and welcoming towards me. All of the ideas and views from the various individuals that were present were taken into consideration. This made me even more confident of the fact that AirAsia certainly has the capability to rise up and stand tall, like it currently does, on an international platform,” she said.
Her appointment was announced by the company’s group CEO and co-founder, Tan Sri Tony Fernandes on Dec 8.
The popular host of Meletop added that the company, which has been around for the past 24 years, is peopled by highly creative, inspired and motivated individuals.
“I’m certain that the experiences that I gain from this endeavor will be shared and utilised for the betterment of myself, my businesses and for other people as well. 2018 has certainly unveiled itself in the most triumphant way possible so far,” she said.
