KUALA LUMPUR: Hairul Azreen has expressed regret after a video of him riding on a moving escalator handrail at a shopping mall went viral on YouTube recently.
According to Harian Metro, the actor said that he didn't realise then that what he did was wrong and looking back, he should not have performed such an act.
"What I did was spontaneous, and I think since I'm a stunt actor, I must have felt a sudden rush of courage to suddenly 'fly' on the handrail," he said.
The 30-year-old admitted it was a mistake, but he didn't think it would go viral especially when the event had taken place a year ago.
