KUALA LUMPUR: Looks like rumours of Bollywood and Hollywood actress Priyanka Chopra dating American actor and singer Nick Jonas might be true after all.
Apparently Us Weekly reported earlier this week that a source had said: “They are dating and it’s brand new. It’s a good match and they are both interested in each other.”
The latest news came from People, which reported an anonymous source claiming that the two, “were very affectionate with each other and seemed to not care who saw”, after being spotted having dinner together on Thursday at a restaurant in West Hollywood.
Chopra was said to have “ran her hands through his hair at one point and they were laughing and even dancing to the music.”
The 35-year-old Quantico star apparently attended the Met Gala together with Jonas, 25, last year. Then Chopra was reported to have told Jimmy Kimmel, while on his show, that they attended the event as friends, adding that: “We were both wearing Ralph Lauren, and we decided to go together, and it was fun.”
Not everyone is having fun though, most notably the mother of the Indian actress, Madhu Chopra.
According to Times of India, her mum was reported to have said a few months ago that she couldn’t imagine her daughter with a foreigner and added that it would be easy to adapt if both sides belonged to the same culture.
With rumours of the international star’s dating choice surfacing once again, it was reported that Chopra’s mother recently expressed that she would like to repeat what she had said earlier.
