#Showbiz: Alif Satar collaborates with Touch 'n' Go to launch lifestyle privilege card

KUALA LUMPUR: In a sea of local celebrities who have ventured into businesses in the fashion, food and beverage industry, popular singer-actor-TV host Alif Satar is taking a different business approach.

The busy 28-year-old artiste revealed that he was working closely with Touch ‘n Go to release a lifestyle privilege card.

The lifestyle privilege card mirrors the concept of existing lifestyle privilege cards where cardholders are privy to exclusive discounts and promotions offered by various retailers and brands. Except that this one comes with its own mobile app which allows cardholders to explore and shop through the catalogue of benefits through the phone.

“At the same time the card - which can be purchased for RM150 on various platforms which will be revealed soon - still functions as a Touch ‘n Go card.

“There’s more I’d like to share but the official launch will only be next month. We are currently working to partner with more companies,” he said when met at MaTiC (Malaysian Tourism Centre) for an exclusive preview of The Hantus, a telemovie he stars in and produced by popular comedian-actor-TV host Nabil Ahmad.

Alif said that the lifestyle privileged card would be his biggest project for the year, and is extremely pumped up about it as he was the one who approached Touch ‘n Go with the idea.

“I have high hopes that it will materialise. I wanted to do something that will be beneficial for all Malaysians.

“This is my tiny contribution towards a cashless society. There’s so much to look forward to in this exciting new journey,” he said.

Meanwhile, the father-of-two said he is set to shoot the second season of his talk show It’s Alif end of this month.
