KUALA LUMPUR: From her questionable outfit choices, to the choice of her venue for a hijab launch event, Noor Neelofa Mohd Noor has landed herself in a series of controversies earlier this year. But lately, fans are starting to wonder what is happening to the host-actress-entrepreneur, as her name hardly pops up in newspaper headlines.
What has Neelofa been up to lately? “Why... do you miss me?” she said when reporters approached her with that question at the launch of Pretty Suci, a local beauty brand, in Sephora KLCC recently.
“I’ve been laying low for awhile in the month of Ramadan to focus on religious activities and spending time with my family.
“I also declined many buka puasa events so I could break fast at home with my family,” she said in a news report.
Taking time off from her hectic schedule, the MeleTOP co-host’s next drama series is Ti Amo Sweetheart 100 Hari, slated to air in August. Directed by Michael Ang, Neelofa stars alongside Zul Ariffin.
