KUALA LUMPUR: There was simply no reason for South Korean actor Gong Yoo to not return to play the titular role in the sequel of popular K-drama series Goblin.
According to allkpop, the 38-year-old artiste said this when asked by reporters during his recent visit to Taipei in Taiwan, to promote Asus ZenFone 5.
Gong Yoo said that there was a good chance he would be playing the role of Goblin/Kim Shin again as the series which premiered in 2016 was a very popular TV show.
“They (the producers) probably don’t have plans (for a sequel) but if there is, would they give me an offer?” he said during the question and answer session.
The drama which also saw Kim Min-jae, Park Hee-von and Lee Dong Wook garnered the second highest rating in South Korean TV history, after 2015’s comedy series Reply 1988.
