KUALA LUMPUR: As fans anticipate K-pop group TWICE’s first ever concert at Stadium Malawati in Shah Alam tonight, sadly the show will not go on.
In a statement issued by the band’s rep JYP Entertainment today, it said: “It is with great regret to inform you that TWICE 2nd Tour ‘TWICELAND Zone 2 : Fantasy Park’ in Kuala Lumpur which was scheduled 28th of July 2018 has been cancelled due to safety issues in the venue.
“We ask for your generous understanding that this decision has been made considering the safety of the artistes and audience as our top priority.
“We are truly sad to deliver this announcement to all fans who have been waiting for TWICE.”
As of now, no refund details on the tickets have been announced.
