KUALA LUMPUR: Most fashion designers have their signature stances when it comes to runway finale bows, be it curtsies or the standard wave, but popular actress-turned-singer and fashion designer Nur Fazura Sharifuddin stepped it up a notch with a finale no other local designer has done before, during her fashion show at the Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week.
The wife of popular actor Fattah Amin had the audience buzzing when her models “collapsed” on the stage, to make way for the 34-year-old award-winning actress who then strutted down the runway after showcasing the ready-to-wear (RTW) collection for her brand Fazbulous.
When videos of her finale went viral, Fazura was lauded by Netizes too for her creativity in ending her show with style.
“Now THIS is a fashion show!”, one commented.
Another follower wrote: “@missfazura the finale is ‘rare’, you slay gal! And creativity at its best! Double thumbs up!”
Perhaps the talented artiste will stage the same finale bow when she showcases her fashion line at the Couture New York Fashion Week in New York next month.
Fazura’s participation in the upcoming fashion show in the Big Apple is part of an initiative organised by the Association of Bumiputera Women in Business and Profession or Peniagawati.
