KUALA LUMPUR: Award-winning actress Sangeeta Krishnasamy’s love life has come into focus after she was spotted attending the recent 31st Anugerah Bintang Popular BH (ABPBH31) awards night at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre together with a Caucasian gentleman.
He is Richard Bradbury, a radio announcer and producer for BFM.
In a news report yesterday, the 32-year-old artiste explained that the two hit it off nicely after she had gone to meet him for an interview at BFM’s studio to talk about her movie Adiwiraku last year.
The inspirational movie saw her winning awards for her convincing portrayal of a teacher, which has since made her a household name in the local mainstream entertainment scene.
She said: “We’re still in the early stages of our relationship. Richard and I are now at a point where we are just getting to know each other. I have known him as a friend since last year when I was interviewed by him on the radio.”
Sangeeta added that their presence at ABPBH31 was the first time that they had ever gone out together.
She also said that their relationship was coming along just fine and that they had not thought about taking it to the next level yet.
“If there is good news, then I will gladly share it. For now, we are just comfortable being friends.
“I don’t think I’ll be ending my status as a singleton any time soon,” she said.
