KUALA LUMPUR: Singer-actress Daiyan Trisha was overwhelmed with emotions when she recently picked up the keys to her first home.
In an Instagram video she shared yesterday, Daiyan appeared teary-eyed as she took her followers on a brief tour around her new house.
“I’m so proud of myself, I‘m so happy. I worked hard for this. I just wanted to share this with you guys because this is a milestone that I’m proud of,” said Daiyan in the video.
In the caption to the post she said that she had her eyes set on buying her first home at the age of 23 but people thought she was too young.
“I worked hard ever since and I finally secured a great place last year in my favourite area.
“I’m so happy I get to share this with you guys and I’m beyond excited to start turning this house into my dream home."
She then thanked her fans for supporting her from day one.
The post drew congratulatory messages from her fans who lauded her for being able to purchase her first property at a young age.
