KUALA LUMPUR: As the drama surrounding the divorce scandal between Korean actress Ku Hye Sun and her husband Ahn Jae Hyun continues, a close friend of the actress has apparently chimed in.
According to Koreaboo, the friend recently revealed why the 34-year-old actress had chosen to take to social media to reveal some shocking details about Ahn, 32.
The friend said: “Through the recent controversy, Ku Hye Sun is the one who’s suffering the most. As much as she wants to protect her family, she’s suffering from all of the gossip that’s going on about their marriage.”
“She’s only speaking what she can say as Ku Hye Sun. She chose to do this in order to let her story be known,” the person added.
Over the course of the ongoing controversy, Ahn’s agency and friends have continually said their piece about Ku and claimed that the actress was lying and had been obsessively controlling over her husband.
Ku, on the other hand, has said that she was against the divorce in order to protect her family. But she had also revealed shocking details about her husband. Most recently, she accused him of cheating on her.
A lawyer had apparently mentioned that the actress may be disclosing her side of things online in order to hold the upper hand if the divorce went to court.
Koreaboo also reported that Korean actress Oh Yeon Seo’s agency had threatened Ku with legal action for damaging Oh’s image via her accusations that Ahn had cheated on her with a female co-star.
Although Ku did not explicitly name the actress involved, speculation online certainly hinted that it was Oh.
Ku’s lawyer had clarified that the actress has so far no plans to fight back against Oh’s legal threat. At the same time, Oh’s agency has yet to officially submit a lawsuit against Ku.
