KUALA LUMPUR: The moment that multi-talented Alif Satar has been waiting anxiously for has finally come.
At 11.21pm yesterday, the host of It's Alif! welcomed the arrival of his first son at a private medical centre in Bangsar.
The healthy baby boy weighed 3.54 kilograms, and best of all, he was born on his father's 29th birthday.
“I'm already so proud of you, my son," said Alif in the caption of his Instagram post shortly after the baby arrived.
The post had a black and white photo of Alif carrying his newborn child up, close and personal.
Congratulatory messages poured in from Alif's fellow artiste friends and fans.
"Tahniah brother!" said Akim Ahmad of Akim And The Majistret.
"Alhamdulillah. Tahniah brother Alif!" said actor, director and comedian Datuk Afdlin Shauki.
"Big ups for the mrs. Beautiful!" said singer-actor Vince Chong.
"Super major love and congrats," said actress and television host Daphne Iking.
"Tahniah bro. Semoga dipermudahkan urusan," said comedian Shuib.
"I'm truly ecstatic for you both. Welcome to the world Alif Jr!" said actress Lisa Surihani.
On July 11, Alif said he was set to welcome his first “prince” in October.
Alif married Sha Dila Halid in September 2014. They have two daughters Alisha Anugerah, 4 and Ariana Mecca, 2.
Sha Dila suffered a miscarriage early this year.
