KUALA LUMPUR: Australian actor Chris Hemsworth, who portrays the God of Thunder Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe seems to be interested in another popular franchise these days.
Indian daily Times Of India recently reported that Hemsworth was asked if he would like to be a part of the popular Star Wars science-fiction franchise to which he replied "Oh yeah, I’d love to".
Hemsworth is the second Avengers actor who has expressed his desire to be featured in the Star Wars films after Chris Evans who played Captain America.
With Marvel head Kevin Feige collaborating with Lucasfilm to develop a new Star Wars film, it will be interesting to see if they can get both of the Avengers stars onboard the Star Wars universe in a year or two.
Meanwhile, Hemsworth is set to star in Marvel's upcoming Thor film Thor: Love and Thunder. The film is scheduled to be screened on Nov 5, 2021.
